October marked the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to focus on breakthroughs that could save lives. One such innovation is the Koning Vera Breast CT, a state-of-the-art imaging device that’s transforming early detection of breast cancer.
Unlike traditional mammograms, which compress the breasts (and often leave patients cringing), this advanced technology provides high-resolution, 3D images in just 7 seconds—without the discomfort. Developed by Georgia-based Koning Health, the Breast CT offers greater accuracy in identifying tumors, paving the way for earlier and more effective interventions.
The device is already making waves across the U.S. and beyond. In July, it was introduced at the Bedford Breast Center in Beverly Hills, California. Earlier this year, in April, it made its debut in New York City at Community Radiology NY in Manhattan. Currently, it’s available in Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and select locations in Europe and Asia. Expansions are underway, with installations planned for Texas, Illinois, Florida, and Ohio soon.
By improving comfort and precision, the Koning Vera Breast CT is empowering both patients and providers. Curious about how it works or where it’s available? Check out this video of the device in action and find a location near you: Learn More.
With advancements like this, every step forward is a step closer to saving more lives. Let’s spread the word this October! 🎗️
