The radical left has found another excuse to call for President Trump’s impeachment—this time over a deportation involving an alleged MS-13 gang member. Yes, you read that right. Democrats are now siding with a man accused of being part of one of the world’s most brutal gangs, all in their relentless crusade against Trump.
Earlier this month, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling related to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien from El Salvador who had been deported back to his home country. The left is screaming foul play, saying Garcia’s deportation violated a court ruling. But let’s take a closer look.
Garcia, who had been living in Beltsville, Maryland, with his wife and three children, was deported by the Trump administration. Immigration officials say he was affiliated with the notorious MS-13 gang and that the deportation was part of a broader effort to rid America of violent criminals—especially those with ties to foreign terrorist organizations.
However, Democrats claim that Garcia’s removal was an “administrative error,” and they’re leaning on a 2019 immigration judge’s decision that supposedly barred deportation to El Salvador, citing concerns over persecution.
After a recent ruling from U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg suggesting that the Trump administration may have “overstepped” by not retrieving Garcia following the Supreme Court’s decision, Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) didn’t waste time jumping onto social media.
“I’ve seen enough,” Thanedar wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Donald Trump is not abiding by a lawful Supreme Court ruling. As a member of Congress, I fully support impeaching him. NOW.”.
Just like that—another impeachment cry. No surprise from the party that’s more concerned with protecting illegal aliens than defending the safety of American families.
Despite what the headlines might suggest, the Supreme Court did not order Trump to bring Garcia back. The Court acknowledged that the deadline to retrieve Garcia had passed and even questioned whether the lower court judge—Paula Xinis—overstepped her authority by telling the federal government to “effectuate” Garcia’s return. In doing so, she may have violated constitutional principles surrounding the executive branch’s control over foreign affairs.
In short, the Supreme Court reminded lower courts that foreign policy is the president’s job—not theirs.
A Justice Department spokesperson put it plainly: the decision “illustrates that activist judges do not have the jurisdiction to seize control of the president’s authority to conduct foreign policy.” In other words, this isn’t about law—it’s about power grabs from the bench.
Now, let’s talk about who Garcia really is.
According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the administration had “credible intelligence” that Garcia was heavily involved in human trafficking and was “a leader of the brutal MS-13 gang.”
“The administration maintains the position that this individual — who was deported to El Salvador, and will not be returning to our country — was a member of the brutal and vicious MS-13 gang,” Leavitt said.
And she didn’t stop there.
“Fact number one,” she said, “he was part of MS-13. Fact number two, we have intelligence showing he was involved in human trafficking. Fact number three, he was a leader in this gang—which President Trump has correctly designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.”
Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler also weighed in, telling Fox News that Garcia is “1000%” an MS-13 gang member and a known domestic abuser.
Because Trump got it right.
The left doesn’t care that Garcia was deported under a legitimate policy targeting violent criminals. They don’t care that multiple officials, from local law enforcement to the White House, have said he’s a danger to society. What they care about is creating yet another fake scandal to stop Trump from doing what he was elected to do—put America first.
Let’s be clear: no American president should be impeached for deporting a known gang member. If anything, Trump deserves credit for doing what Joe Biden won’t—protecting Americans from dangerous criminals.
