Lindsey Graham Challenger Mark Lynch: America’s ‘Tired’ of His ‘Fake Platform’

In a fiery interview on Breitbart News Saturday, South Carolina businessman Mark Lynch didn’t hold back in his criticism of longtime Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) — calling him a “comedian” and declaring that conservative Americans are tired of his fake platform.

Lynch, who is challenging Graham in South Carolina’s upcoming Republican primary, believes the political tide is turning. He pointed to recent polling showing Graham as vulnerable, saying the results didn’t surprise anyone who truly understands where Republican voters stand in 2025.

“Most good, true conservative Republicans probably could have written the data,” Lynch said.

“Lindsey’s a Comedian”

Lynch pulled no punches when speaking about Graham’s record and persona.

“Americans are tired of Lindsey and the fake platform he runs on,” he said. “He’s just a comedian.”

The South Carolina businessman suggested Graham only puts on a conservative face when it’s politically convenient — a common criticism among grassroots Republicans who feel betrayed by establishment figures in D.C.

“He’s going to be a Republican now, a conservative Republican now, and he’s raving about the endorsement that he got,” Lynch said, referring to the endorsement Graham recently received from President Donald Trump.

But Lynch warned that even Trump’s powerful endorsement may not be enough to save Graham this time.

“We all know that Trump needs some things out of Lindsey. However, Lindsey still is resisting Trump and fighting him at every turn,” Lynch continued.
“That’s why the majority of the country says we won’t vote for Lindsey again. We love President Trump, but that endorsement won’t save him this time.”

“We’re Done”

Lynch’s message was clear — Republican voters are fed up with politicians like Lindsey Graham who talk one way on cable news but act differently when it comes time to vote in the Senate.

“We’re done,” Lynch declared flatly.

He acknowledged that Trump’s endorsement raised eyebrows, but reminded listeners that Americans don’t need to agree with every move Trump makes.

“He’s a winner. He’s a smart businessman, and he’s doing great things, and we love everything he’s doing,” Lynch said.
“And I know, as a businessman myself, like Trump is, if we have employees that are defiant and disregarding everything we’re asking them to do — resisting and fighting against us — we have to find new employees.”

That’s exactly why Lynch is running — to replace weak Republicans in Congress who continue to undermine the America First, MAGA agenda that brought Trump to power and redefined the Republican Party.

When asked how he plans to overcome Trump’s endorsement of Graham, Lynch didn’t back down. In his view, the support of everyday Americans matters more than political endorsements from above.

“The endorsement from We the People is so much heavier,” Lynch said.
“It just hits the scale the other direction.”

According to Lynch, the response from voters across the country was swift and clear the moment Trump endorsed Graham.

“When that endorsement came out, the majority of the pulse in America — all over the country, everywhere we could see it: social media, TV, newspapers, radio interviews, everywhere — was that we love President Trump, but this endorsement will not save him.”

“We’re done with Lindsey,” he added. “Because people have — they have the freedom to make a decision on their own.”

Mark Lynch’s primary challenge represents something much bigger than one race in South Carolina. It’s part of a growing movement among conservative voters to hold establishment Republicans accountable and bring in fresh, America First leadership.
