What started as an average day at Dodger Stadium turned into a political circus as Democrats, pro-migration activists, and left-wing media tried to spin a routine ICE-related incident into a manufactured crisis—dragging one of America’s most beloved baseball teams into California’s out-of-control immigration mess.
On June 19, ICE and CBP agents briefly accessed Dodger Stadium’s parking lot, reportedly to transfer illegal aliens after a tense enforcement operation outside a Hollywood Home Depot. What followed was a full-blown media meltdown, complete with street protests, political grandstanding, and desperate attempts to portray the Dodgers as collaborators with immigration enforcement.
The Dodgers, under pressure, issued a statement clarifying:
“This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.”
But even that wasn’t enough to stop the leftist outrage machine.

“This had nothing to do with the Dodgers. CBP vehicles were in the stadium parking lot very briefly, unrelated to any operation or enforcement.”

“Immigrants are part of Los Angeles… Dodgers — they thrive off the fan base that is Latino, off the workers that are Latino. They’re not a detriment to our city or community. They are a benefit.”
Soboroff promptly endorsed her view, saying, “We just got it,” as if the case was closed.
But what really happened was just a transfer operation that lasted minutes, far from the media-inflated narrative of ICE “raiding” Dodger Stadium.

The real goal? To protect the millions of illegal migrants living in California—including convicted criminals—from deportation. According to Breitbart, California’s left-wing lawmakers, with support from groups like FWD.us (funded by Silicon Valley billionaires), have made it their mission to block deportations at all costs, even if it means vilifying federal agents or manipulating sports fans for political points.
Many Dodgers fans are fed up. Social media was flooded with responses from supporters who don’t want to see their team used as a pawn in the immigration debate.

“Let law enforcement do their job and stop trying to cancel our team,” said another.

Let’s be clear: No fans were threatened, no arrests happened at the stadium, and no ICE raid took place on Dodgers property.
