President Donald Trump delivered a bold message to the world this weekend: the United States has crippled Iran’s nuclear ambitions—and the results were nothing short of “monumental.”
Speaking directly to the American people, and later posting on Truth Social, Trump confirmed what many had been hoping for: Iran’s most sensitive nuclear facilities—Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz—were struck with precision and power in a daring U.S. military operation.
“The damage to the Nuclear sites in Iran is said to be ‘monumental,’” Trump wrote. “The hits were hard and accurate. Great skill was shown by our military. Thank you!”
During a live address from the White House on Saturday evening, Trump confirmed the operation had completely obliterated key components of Iran’s uranium enrichment program.
“Key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” he declared. “Massive precision strikes” were delivered with one objective: take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities before it’s too late.
And while Trump hailed the success of the strikes, some U.S. and Israeli sources acknowledged that the Fordow site—dug deep beneath a mountain—may not be fully destroyed but is now considered effectively inoperable.
According to two Israeli officials speaking to the New York Times, the Fordow site suffered “serious damage” and is now “off the table.”
A U.S. defense official echoed that analysis, saying even 12 bunker-busting bombs could not completely destroy the underground facility, but confirmed the operation had “severely damaged it,” rendering it unusable for the foreseeable future.
Let’s be clear—the Fordow nuclear facility wasn’t just another building. It was Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear site, buried hundreds of feet under solid rock. To hit it, the U.S. deployed its most advanced aircraft—the B-2 Spirit bomber—and 15-ton bunker-busting bombs in a 37-hour round-trip mission.
These bombs, known as GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators, are the largest non-nuclear weapons in the U.S. arsenal, and are capable of smashing through thick layers of earth and concrete. This was America’s message to Iran and the world: no target is safe.
As reported by Breitbart News, the strikes were part of Operation Midnight Hammer, a joint U.S.-Israel mission that targeted Iran’s three most important enrichment sites in a coordinated assault.
In a follow-up post on Truth Social, President Trump made waves by hinting at what many Americans have been thinking for years: Is it time for regime change in Iran?
“It’s not politically correct to use the term, ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change??? MIGA!!!”
The acronym “MIGA” (Make Iran Great Again) immediately caught fire across conservative circles, suggesting that Trump is once again laying out a vision where diplomacy and peace follow strength—not weakness.
Shortly after Trump’s post, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stepped in to clarify the mission’s objective:
“This mission was not, has not been about regime change,” Hegseth told reporters. “The President authorized a precision operation to neutralize the threats to our national interests posed by the Iranian nuclear program and the collective self defense of our troops and our ally Israel.”
