While President Donald Trump was busy making America — and the world — safer by crippling Iran’s nuclear weapons program, thousands of radical leftists took to the streets in The Hague, Netherlands, angrily chanting “Trump is a terrorist” and “F*** NATO” in protest of the precision strikes that obliterated three of Iran’s key nuclear facilities over the weekend.
Saturday’s strikes on Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan weren’t just bold—they were a stunning show of U.S. power, delivered with surgical accuracy. But to the far-left in Europe, even crippling a dangerous Islamic regime that threatens Israel and the West is a reason to riot.
The protestors—mostly organized by socialist, Marxist, and eco-extremist groups—marched to the Peace Palace on Sunday, waving Iranian and Palestinian flags, and spewing venom toward the United States, NATO, and Israel. Chants like “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”—a slogan calling for the destruction of Israel—were echoed alongside “Dismantle Israel” signs and calls to halt all action against Iran.
According to De Telegraaf, many of the demonstrators carried placards reading:
“Stop the attack on Iran. Dismantle Israel.”
Let’s be clear: this was not a peace rally. It was a full-blown anti-West, anti-freedom protest—led by the Dutch Socialist Party (SP), Marxist fringe party BIJ1, Extinction Rebellion, and Antifa militants.
These protesters weren’t just opposing war. They targeted President Trump directly, calling him a “terrorist” for launching a mission that successfully degraded a regime with a long record of terrorism, threats to U.S. troops, and calls for Israel’s destruction.
As Breitbart News noted, protestors also accused NATO of being a “war machine,” despite the alliance’s clear role in protecting Western democracy from real aggressors like Iran, Russia, and China.
Meanwhile, Trump remains undeterred, preparing to attend the NATO summit in The Hague this Wednesday. Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof confirmed on Sunday:
“I’m assuming Mr. Trump is still coming. At least, we have not received any counter-notice.”

While Trump’s decisive action was met with cheers from American patriots and allies like Israel, European elites were quick to cry foul.
Frans Timmermans, head of the leftist GroenLinks–Labour Party alliance and a top Brussels Eurocrat, condemned Trump’s move:
“As long as the diplomatic path remains open, an attack using military means is unjustified and contrary to international law.”
Ironically, these are the same voices who stayed silent when Iran funneled weapons to terrorist groups or helped orchestrate missile attacks on civilians.
But not everyone in Europe was buying the leftist narrative. Geert Wilders, leader of the populist Party for Freedom, praised Trump’s no-nonsense approach:
“Hit those ayatollahs and hit them hard. Peace through strength and no concessions to Islamic evil and barbarians with the ability to make nukes.”
THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS – JUNE 22: Crowds gather in front of The Hague Central Station to protest the NATO summit taking place in the city, in Netherlands on June 22, 2025. Demonstrators wave a mix of flags, including Palestinian and Iranian ones, as well as those of political parties such as SP and BIJ1. Many hold placards with strong anti-NATO messages like “No war, no occupation stop NATO domination” and “NATO is a war machine.” The protest reflects growing public dissent toward the alliance’s role in global conflicts. Wilders, one of Europe’s strongest voices against Islamic extremism, echoed the very principle Trump ran on: real peace only comes through strength—not appeasement.
Saturday’s strikes weren’t just a military mission. They were a message to the world: the United States under President Trump will not tolerate nuclear blackmail from regimes that chant “Death to America.”
While the radical left tries to demonize strength and confuse chaos for compassion, Americans and our true allies know better. Iran’s nuclear ambitions just took a devastating hit, and Trump made it clear—America leads, not pleads.
The protests in The Hague may have been loud, but they won’t change the facts: Trump’s leadership just dealt a major blow to one of the most dangerous regimes on the planet.
And the global left? They can scream all they want. Trump will keep doing what he’s always done—put America first, keep our allies safe, and crush threats before they grow.
