Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is back in the spotlight—and not for leadership or legislative results. This time, she’s doubling down on inflammatory rhetoric after fleeing the state to dodge a vote on redistricting. Yes, you read that right: Crockett and her Democrat colleagues packed up and bolted from Texas, again, to avoid doing their jobs. Then, from the safety of distance, she started talking tough.
“This governor talks a lot of noise, and I made sure that I put up my warrant from four years ago,” Crockett began, referencing a previous stunt in 2021 when she and other Democrats skipped town to block Republican election integrity bills. “To make it plain that they talk a lot of noise, but these guys are weak.”
Let’s pause there. Crockett, fresh off her second disappearing act, thinks the people who stayed behind to govern are the weak ones?
But she wasn’t done.
“The difference is they expect Democrats to kind of be the nice guys that we are,” she added. “They expect us to take the punch and say thank you. Well, I am here to tell you not only are we going to punch back, but we about to beat you down.”
That’s not metaphor. That’s a public official—in the middle of a policy dispute—threatening violence. And once again, the silence from Democrat leadership is deafening. If the parties were reversed, this would dominate every cable news chyron for weeks. But when it’s one of their own? Just crickets.
Worse still, Crockett once told comedian Hasan Minhaj that “violence doesn’t come from Democrats,” clarifying: “It is MAGA. It’s specifically MAGA faction.”
So which is it, Congresswoman? Are Democrats above violence, or just above accountability?
This isn’t just about one rogue representative mouthing off. Her party has normalized this kind of language. Rep. Julie Johnson (D-TX) called the vote-dodging strategy “an all-out war.” California Governor Gavin Newsom chimed in to say Democrats would “fight fire with fire.” These aren’t metaphors anymore—they’re marching orders.
It’s the same playbook: dodge responsibility, inflame tensions, and then claim moral superiority while accusing others of what they’re doing in plain sight.
This kind of behavior isn’t just embarrassing—it’s dangerous. In an era where political violence is sadly real, where assassination attempts have made headlines, you’d think elected officials might pause before shouting about “beatdowns” and “war” on the House floor or national television.
Apparently not.
And let’s not forget: Crockett once mocked Governor Greg Abbott, a man in a wheelchair, by calling him “Governor Hot Wheels.” Meanwhile, her own party has spent $20 million trying to rebrand themselves after internal polling revealed Americans see Democrats as—wait for it—“weak.”
You don’t earn respect by running from a vote. You don’t win public trust by threatening opponents from behind the curtain. And you certainly don’t fix public perception by confirming every negative stereotype through your own words and actions.
It’s time for some real leadership to step in. The House GOP shouldn’t wait for another summer of riots or threats before taking formal action. If Crockett’s words don’t cross the line for censure, what does?
Let’s call this what it is: not just grandstanding—but dangerous, unserious, and deeply un-American behavior from a party unwilling to face the consequences of its own rhetoric.

Crotchett is just a J.A.R.N.C. . Impeach her and all the COWARDS who fled to ILLinois !! LONG LIVE KING TRUMP !!!
