Watch: Victim of Infamous Cincinnati Attack Speaks Out, Counters DEI-Supporting Police Chief’s Claims

The woman who was brutally beaten in downtown Cincinnati by a mob of men is finally speaking out—and what she’s revealing should alarm every citizen who cares about public safety and accountability.

Holly, who is only using her first name for safety reasons, sat down with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, visible bruises still marking her cheek and under her eye. She recounted the terrifying moments before she was knocked to the ground, bleeding in the street.

According to Holly, the group—who were black—hurled racially charged insults at her and the people she was with.

HOLLY: “When we came outside, there were some racist comments. I guess some of the people that we were with were from the country of Russia, and there were a bunch of Russian comments, and some people saying they wanted to beat up the Russians. And then there were some comments about, you know, ‘White people shouldn’t be out here’ or ‘We’re gonna go night night, you white bleep words.’

Cincinnati beatdown victim:

“We were just leaving, waiting for our Uber — no fights inside, no problems. Outside, we were surrounded. My friends were attacked, one beaten within an inch of their life. I stepped in to help. Then came the racist comments — ‘you white [expletive]… pic.twitter.com/ibQ2e2YAlE

So, you know, definitely it was a little scary, yeah, there were, it was just an attack that should have never happened, and there were a lot of people in the attack, now that some of the people have been arrested, they have rap sheets that go on for days, especially the man who punched me in the face. He had just gotten out of jail a few months before and had felonies on him, and I don’t understand why he was running the streets, and a lot of other people should have never been out of jail to even do this to me or the others.”

Cincinnati beatdown victim to City Councilwoman Victoria Parks:

“What kind of leadership is this? If you’re encouraging this behavior, no change will happen. You’re part of the problem, not the solution — and I wish people in power used their positions to fix this, not fuel it.”… pic.twitter.com/smxJ4uzUYd

Her words cut to the heart of a bigger problem: dangerous repeat offenders walking free while law-abiding citizens pay the price. The man who struck her had a history of violent felonies and was recently released. For many residents, this raises a troubling question—why are violent criminals back on the streets so quickly, only to harm again?

The response from city leadership has only deepened the outrage. Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge dismissed the viral videos as “distorted,” offering no proof for the claim. She is an outspoken proponent of DEI policies, which often prioritize political optics over hard-nosed law enforcement. Notably absent from her press conference was any mention of the attackers’ lengthy criminal records—details that would have clashed with her framing of the incident.

Cincinnati beatdown victim to police chief:

“This wasn’t an ‘incident.’ It was a beatdown — attempted murder. Calling it that is insulting. I haven’t heard from the chief or mayor. These thugs should’ve been in jail, not free to attack innocent people.” #IngrahamAngleExclusive pic.twitter.com/0ePCQPUN4U

Mayor Aftab Pureval’s statement wasn’t much better, subtly implying the victims might have provoked the attack. Yet neither he nor the police chief has reached out to Holly directly.

In a city already battling rising crime, the refusal to confront the reality of violent repeat offenders—and the racial hostility evident in this case—signals a leadership more focused on narrative management than public safety. Instead of standing with victims, those in charge appear intent on bending facts to fit a worldview, leaving everyday citizens to wonder: if the people sworn to protect us won’t even acknowledge what’s happening, who will?

Yes, most definitely it’s the leadership that has failed the citizens! The new phrase, “Go woke,go broke” applies here. Everyone of these shitty mayor’s have caused serious harm to their cities and the people who live there. You think that they would “smarten up” knowing that their funds will be cut if they continue down the path of lawlessness! Thank Walz for letting this get out of hand with the riots and burning of Minneapolis! He let them run amok and didn’t support law enforcement! It was a defund the police movement that has been sweeping the country for the last four years!
