In yet another troubling sign of political extremism taking hold, a disturbing wave of attacks has targeted Tesla dealerships and charging stations across the country. Attorney General Pam Bondi addressed the growing violence during her appearance on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, making it clear that these acts will not be tolerated.
But what’s more shocking is the rhetoric fueling these attacks. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has been accused of encouraging hostility toward Tesla and its CEO, Elon Musk. And now, Bondi is issuing a stern warning: “Tread carefully.”
What some in the media are trying to downplay as mere “vandalism” is actually far more dangerous. As Bondi pointed out, the attacks on Tesla locations aren’t just spray paint and broken windows—they’re outright acts of domestic terrorism.
“We’re looking at so much on this,” Bondi said. “There have been three federal charges so far. And I say so far. We are looking at all of these cases across the country. We have a dedicated task force. These are not isolated incidents, as you know, and these aren’t vandals. These are Molotov cocktails. That could be a weapon of mass destruction that they’re throwing in Tesla dealerships. Now they’re lighting these Tesla charging stations on fire that are in residential neighborhoods. I mean, it could cause tremendous damage.”
Imagine the kind of destruction this could bring—cars exploding, homes catching fire, innocent families put at risk—all because some radicals are upset with Elon Musk’s politics.
Bondi made it clear that the Biden-era “soft on crime” approach will not be repeated under this administration. “The three people in custody right now, they will receive severe and swift consequences, and they are facing up to 20 years in prison. We are not negotiating these. We are not coming off these charges.”
As if the violent attacks weren’t bad enough, a sitting member of Congress, Rep. Jasmine Crockett, is under fire for her reckless words. In a moment that left many conservatives shaking their heads, Crockett reportedly called for Musk to be “taken out” on her birthday.
Of course, once the backlash hit, she quickly tried to claim she wasn’t really calling for violence. But as Bondi pointed out, elected officials don’t get to be reckless with their words, then play the victim when they’re called out.
“She needs to tread very carefully,” Bondi warned. “Because nothing will happen to Elon Musk. And we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country.”
A Coordinated Attack on Free Speech?
It’s no secret that Elon Musk has become a major target for the Left ever since he took over Twitter (now X) and allowed free speech back on the platform. Democrats and media elites have done everything in their power to smear him—from falsely labeling him a “Nazi” to supporting boycotts of Tesla. Now, with violent attacks escalating, one has to wonder: Is this all part of a bigger, coordinated effort to punish Musk for refusing to fall in line?
Bondi made it clear: “Domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country.”
This is exactly the kind of lawlessness that conservatives have been warning about for years. When you let radical rhetoric go unchecked, when you allow mobs to dictate policy, and when you ignore violence against people with the “wrong” political views, it only emboldens more chaos.
The question now is: Will Democrats denounce these attacks, or will they stay silent and let the destruction continue?
