On MSNBC’s The Weeknight Thursday, Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) accused Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of potential criminal behavior tied to server installations within the White House complex.
During the segment, co-host Symone Sanders raised concerns about Musk’s alleged involvement with the White House’s Office of Presidential Personnel and the broader federal bureaucracy. She claimed DOGE had installed servers that still remain in the White House and questioned what Democrats plan to do about the sensitive data involved.
Subramanyam responded sharply:
“Yeah, I heard he’s on some image repair tour. I think the best way for him to repair his image is to reverse all the damage he did to our government, to the American people.”
The congressman confirmed Democrats intend to continue investigating the matter and implied criminal actions may have occurred.
“Certainly, I think some crimes may have been committed over the past 3 or 4 months, and they are going to come to light one way or another—even if it takes us getting into power again. We will subpoena people and find out.”
This comes as Musk reportedly distances himself from D.C. amid increasing scrutiny from left-wing lawmakers.
