The conservative movement is still reeling from the shocking assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, but his widow, Erika Kirk, offered words that remind us why his legacy will endure.
Speaking publicly for the first time since her husband’s death, Erika said: “I want to thank the millions of people who have shown their love for Charlie here in Phoenix, across America, and worldwide. I want to thank my husband’s dear friend, Vice President Vance, and his phenomenal wife, Usha, for their love and support. You guys honored my husband so well, bringing him home.”
Her remarks carried the weight of both grief and gratitude. She continued: “I want to thank President Trump and his incredible family for the same. Mr. President, my husband loved you. And, he knew that you loved him too. He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well.”
With those words, Erika underscored the deep bonds that unite conservatives in times of both triumph and tragedy. It wasn’t just about politics. It was about loyalty, friendship, and faith — values that Charlie himself built his life and mission around.
“Two days ago, my husband, Charlie went to see the face of his Savior and his God,” Erika said. “Charlie always said that when he was gone, he wanted to be remembered for his courage and for his faith.”
That courage and faith are precisely what made Charlie Kirk such a powerful voice in the fight for America’s future. At a time when free speech is under siege and traditional values are mocked by the Left, Charlie stood tall, unafraid to speak truth to power. He built Turning Point USA into a movement that awakened a generation to the dangers of socialism, government overreach, and cultural decay.
On Thursday, his casket was flown back to Arizona aboard Air Force Two, with Vice President JD Vance leading the military honor guard in escorting it. The moment was a solemn reminder that Charlie’s sacrifice — and the movement he helped lead — has the full respect of leaders who understand what’s at stake in this country.
Charlie Kirk’s life was cut short by violence, but his mission lives on. He wanted to be remembered for his courage and faith. And in the face of tragedy, his wife’s words and the response of millions prove that he will be.

God bless Charlie and his family He will be greatly missed I hope he his wife continues To spread his word
