President Donald Trump is proving once again that he stands firmly with people of faith. Following a shocking attack on St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wichita, Kansas—where vandals scrawled a Satanic website address on its walls—Trump vowed to take action.
“I think it’s a terrible thing,” Trump stated when asked about the attack. “I am going to take a look at it.”
His words send a clear message: religious persecution will not be tolerated under his watch.
A New Sheriff in Town: Trump’s Anti-Christian Weaponization Task Force
Trump has wasted no time in addressing the disturbing trend of attacks on Catholic churches. His administration’s newly launched Anti-Christian Weaponization Task Force has put the perpetrators of nearly 500 church attacks on notice. This initiative marks a stark contrast to the previous administration, which many say turned a blind eye to the escalating violence against places of worship.
Over the last four years, the Biden administration was widely criticized for its hostility toward Catholics and other religious groups. The FBI was caught spying on Catholic church services, while the Department of Justice (DOJ) aggressively pursued nonviolent pro-life advocates—all while failing to hold accountable those responsible for violent attacks on churches and pregnancy centers.
Under Biden, radical pro-abortion domestic terrorist groups like Jane’s Revenge openly encouraged and carried out attacks against pro-life organizations and churches without fear of repercussions. Meanwhile, non-violent pro-life protesters, including elderly individuals, faced severe legal consequences for merely standing up for the unborn.
CatholicVote, a leading organization advocating for religious freedom, repeatedly reached out to the Biden administration, urging them to stop weaponizing government agencies against people of faith. These calls were ignored. The group even filed a lawsuit alongside Judicial Watch in 2023 to force transparency regarding the government’s anti-Catholic bias.
By the time the 2024 election arrived, Catholic voters had seen enough. Their frustration led to a historic swing toward Trump, delivering him the largest margin of victory among Catholic voters in decades.
Trump’s concern for the attack in Wichita is just one example of his commitment to defending religious freedom. His administration has made it clear that attacks on Christian values will not go unanswered.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has vowed to end the use of government power to target Christians for their beliefs. Meanwhile, FBI Director Kash Patel has provided key records to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) that detail how the previous administration weaponized the FBI and DOJ against pro-life activists and Catholic churches.

These investigations will help expose the full extent of the Biden administration’s bias and ensure that the government is no longer used as a tool to harass people of faith.
Fortunately, local authorities—working with the FBI and ATF—have already arrested a suspect in connection with the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church attack. Many suspect that the attack could be tied to a Satanic “black mass” planned for the Kansas state capitol on March 28.
As Trump pointed out, anti-Catholic bigotry is a terrible thing. His administration’s willingness to investigate and prosecute these crimes is a welcome change from the neglect seen under Biden.
Under President Trump, America’s Catholic and Christian communities can expect stronger protections and more decisive action against those who seek to attack religious institutions. His administration’s efforts will go a long way in restoring justice, ending government weaponization against Christians, and protecting places of worship.
In America, religious freedom is a cornerstone of our nation’s values. With Trump in the White House, Catholics and all people of faith can rest assured that they have a president who is willing to stand up for them.
