While the nation watched with relief as President Trump’s bold strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities led to a potential ceasefire in the Middle East, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) had an entirely different reaction—and it wasn’t pretty.
In a Sunday night Instagram livestream, Crockett ranted against the president, accusing him of acting outside the law and not bothering to “holla” at Congress before taking action.
“I go back in on Monday. You could have holla’d at us on Monday,” Crockett fumed to her followers. “There is nothing that they will say that will make me believe that this action needed to take place.”
Apparently, neutralizing three Iranian nuclear sites with zero American casualties isn’t enough justification for the Texas Democrat.
Crockett’s emotional livestream came just one day after President Trump announced that massive precision strikes had successfully hit Iran’s Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz nuclear sites, crippling the regime’s ability to move forward with its weapons program.
“It was a very successful attack,” Trump said after the operation.
Even Vice President JD Vance emphasized that the strikes were necessary, justified, and crucially, bloodless on the American side.
And just one day later, Trump brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Yet Crockett’s response? She’s furious that Congress wasn’t “consulted.”
Crockett, a progressive favorite known more for her viral tirades than substantive legislation, claimed Trump’s actions were not just misguided—but illegal:
“Everything that he does is, like, against the law. Like he just breaks the law,” she claimed, without citing any actual laws broken.
Incredibly, Crockett insisted her rant wasn’t about politics, but about identity:
“I’m not saying these things because I’m a Democrat,” she said. “I’m saying these things as a black woman in America who just happens to be educated enough to know what the law is.”
Let’s be clear—no law was broken. As Commander-in-Chief, President Trump is well within his constitutional authority to carry out targeted military strikes, especially when U.S. interests and allied security are on the line.
When asked by an aide how Congress could “make them accountable,” Crockett responded:
“The systems have broken down because people have legitimately decided that they would rather serve him than serve the people that put them into office.”
Translation? She’s angry that Republicans—and many Americans—still support Trump. What she calls “broken systems” is really just democracy at work. Americans elected a leader who promised to restore strength abroad and act decisively against threats. That’s exactly what President Trump is doing.
While Americans are breathing a sigh of relief over a possible end to a regional war and the crippling of Iran’s nuclear capabilities, Crockett is livestreaming grievances about not getting a heads-up.
Meanwhile, her constituents in Texas face real issues—rising crime, a broken border, inflation—and this is what she chooses to focus on?
It’s a reminder of how out-of-touch and performative some in the Democrat Party have become. When America acts boldly to stop terror and protect allies, they’re offended they didn’t get an invite to the decision-making table.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s unhinged response to Trump’s Iran strike reveals everything you need to know about the modern Democratic Party: more concerned about optics and power than American safety and leadership.
While Trump makes the world safer, they’re whining about process. That tells you all you need to know.
God bless the troops. God bless America. And thank you, Mr. President.
