What happens when a foreign political insider openly mocks the murder of a conservative leader on live television? In Mexico, that mistake cost him his career—and possibly his U.S. privileges.
Salvador Ramírez, a congressional staffer with Mexico’s ruling Morena party, appeared on the major news network Milenio and made shocking comments about Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated last week while speaking in Utah. Ramírez sneered, “I think if Charlie Kirk lived, he may like what I am about to say, because what I am about to say is very ‘anti-woke.’ He was given a spoonful of his own chocolate. They gave a spoonful to someone who promoted the use of weapons. They gave a spoonful to someone who was financed by the National Rifle Association – a political association that is of the extreme right, pro-Trump, of the most radical wing of the Republicans.”
Ramírez went further, branding Turning Point USA as “an anti-rights, anti-LGBT – practically anti-women – movement.”
The backlash was swift. Christopher Landau, deputy secretary of state and former U.S. ambassador to Mexico, took to X with a clear warning: “Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country. Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the state department can protect the American people.” His message carried weight—underscoring the security-first approach conservatives have long argued for when it comes to who we allow inside America’s borders.
Ramírez quickly felt the consequences. Milenio, one of Mexico’s most prominent networks, issued a formal apology, admitting his words “may have upset or offended a part of the audience” and declaring the network does not “promote nor accept expressions of hate, violence or disqualification towards any person or group.” Hours later, Ramírez himself released a video calling his remarks “very unfortunate” before resigning his post in the Mexican Congress.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Reuters counted at least 15 individuals—from journalists and professors to a firefighter and even a Secret Service employee—who have lost their jobs or faced suspension after making callous remarks about Kirk’s death. It’s a reminder that while the Left often preaches tolerance, many of its loudest voices reveal a disturbing double standard when conservative lives are targeted.
Governor Spencer Cox of Utah emphasized accountability, promising that Kirk’s killer—now in custody after a two-day manhunt—will face justice. “There is one person responsible for what happened here, and that person is now in custody and will be charged soon and will be held accountable,” Cox stated.
At a moment when conservatives are still mourning a bold voice for free speech and traditional values, the episode serves as proof that mockery of violence cannot go unanswered. America must remain vigilant, drawing clear lines on who is welcome in this country and who forfeits that privilege by glorifying bloodshed.

Not enough is being done to these antiamericans for what they say and act on, in every country and our on country, its time to take our country back for our forefathers who paved the way to democracy and the constitution, and not enough for people who hate people for what they believe in and what our country was founded on, the Bible, God’s Holy Word and prayer.
