A new CNN poll has revealed what many conservatives have long suspected: the Democratic Party is lurching even further to the left. According to the survey, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the self-proclaimed democratic socialist, was found to “best reflect the core values” of today’s Democrat Party. That’s right—AOC, the radical leftist known for pushing Green New Deal nonsense, open borders, and extreme socialism, is now the face of the party.
The poll, conducted from March 6-9 among roughly 500 Democrats and left-leaning independents, showed Ocasio-Cortez leading the pack with ten percent of respondents saying she best represents their party’s values. Vice President Kamala Harris—who has yet to accomplish much of anything—was close behind at nine percent, while socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) took third place with eight percent.
But here’s where it gets interesting. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) came in with only six percent. Former President Barack Obama and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) each pulled in a measly four percent. And in what should be a stunning blow to the current administration, President Joe Biden—yes, the leader of the party—barely even registered, receiving just one percent of the vote. Even Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), known for his unconventional and often confused public appearances, scored a big fat zero.
Over 30 percent of respondents refused to name anyone at all, with one person even responding, “No one, that’s the problem.”
Democrats’ Favorability Hits Rock Bottom
As if that wasn’t enough, the CNN poll also found that the Democratic Party’s favorability rating among Americans has plummeted to a record low of just 29 percent. And here’s the kicker—this decline is largely driven by the growing frustration within their own party. Democrat voters are increasingly disillusioned with their leadership, realizing that empty promises and radical policies aren’t cutting it.
For conservatives, this poll confirms what we’ve been saying all along: today’s Democrat Party is completely out of touch with mainstream America. With AOC as the party’s top representative, it’s clear that the radical left is steering the ship straight into oblivion. Meanwhile, Biden’s near-invisible presence in this poll signals deep trouble for his already shaky re-election prospects.
The question now is: will Democrats course-correct before it’s too late, or will they continue their full-speed descent into far-left extremism?
