Senator Elizabeth Warren picked the wrong fight during last week’s Senate Finance Committee hearing. While trying to attack Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over his recent COVID vaccine policy changes, she ended up on defense—forced to answer for the hefty support she’s received from Big Pharma.
Warren accused Kennedy of “effectively denying people vaccines” after he revised guidelines and reclassified the COVID shot. Kennedy pushed back hard: “I’m not going to recommend a product for which there was no clinical data for that indication. Is that what I should be doing?”
Warren tried to spin the change as breaking a confirmation promise: “What you should be doing is honoring your promise you made when you were looking to get confirmed in this job. And that is, you promised, that you would not take away vaccines from anyone who wanted them.”
But Kennedy didn’t back down. “I’m not taking them away from people,” he said. “Most Americans are going to be able to get it from their pharmacy for free. I never promised that I was going to recommend products for which there is no indication.”
Then came the knockout blow. “And I know you’ve taken $855,000 from pharmaceutical companies, Senator!” Kennedy fired back, cutting through the posturing to reveal what may really be fueling Warren’s outrage.
This exchange highlights a larger problem: Democrats’ cozy relationship with the same pharmaceutical giants they claim to hold accountable. For years, Big Pharma has profited handsomely from government mandates and taxpayer-funded vaccine programs. Now, when someone in leadership dares to demand accountability and evidence-based science, the political class jumps to protect its benefactors.
Kennedy made his broader stance clear: “I’m pro-medicine, but I understand some medicines HARM people! Some of them have risks… And the same is true with vaccines!” His approach isn’t about politics—it’s about ensuring Americans aren’t forced to take products without proper data while corporations rake in billions.
The tension over Kennedy’s leadership extends beyond vaccines. At the CDC, Director Susan Monarez was fired after just a month, several senior officials resigned, and more than 1,000 staff signed a letter demanding Kennedy step down. But Kennedy insists the shake-up is necessary:
“As my father once said, ‘Progress is a nice word. A change is its motivator. And change has its enemies.’ That’s why we need new blood at CDC. That’s also why it’s imperative that we removed officials with conflicts of interest and catastrophically bad judgment and political agendas. We need unbiased, politics-free, transparent, evidence-based science in the public interest. Those are the guiding principles behind the changes at the CDC, and that is what you can expect all across our agency for the next three years.”
In short, Kennedy is challenging a broken system that has too often put profit and politics ahead of public health. And judging by Warren’s defensive outburst, the swamp isn’t taking it well.
Senator Warren just got caught in her own web she tried to spin on Senator
Kennedy ! Notice how she brushed over the $855,000 take ?????? She tried to say he stopped the vaccines, when in reality he made it up to the people weather they want it or not. Dems want to shove it down our throats again and make it mandatory. A couple of years ago the Dems asked what was in OUR Kool-Aid. Now I wonder what is in THEIR Kool-Aid ! They are now way-out in LEFT field! They are their own best enemy to the point even their own constituents distanced themselves from them. This one great party is now lost to their own greed! The American people aren’t stupid; their looking for a leader who is going to lead them into the great Country we once were!
GOD BLESS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
WE NEED RFK!!! He knows more than anyone else about what’s really going on here.
You can take Pocahontas any day. She’s STILL doesn’t listen!!!
