Comedian Kathy Griffin is back in the spotlight — and not for anything resembling comedy. In a rambling, 10-minute video, Griffin went on a tirade to promote this weekend’s “No Kings” protests, accusing President Donald Trump of being a “dictator” and claiming he “didn’t win a free and fair election.”
“I am going to be 65 on November 4th. So listen to aunt or grandma Kathy when I say our country has never been through anything this horrible in my lifetime,” Griffin began, before comparing Trump to Richard Nixon and declaring, “The current so-called president is a fascist.”
She went on, “Now, if you don’t know what that is, that’s an authoritarian or a dictator. Now, the reason you don’t want that is because it takes away all your powers of choice.”
The outburst only grew stranger. Between tangents about Kamala Harris and TikTok, Griffin attacked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), describing lawful immigration raids as “abductions” and warning that the agency will be “in full force” at the upcoming protests. She even took a swipe at actor Dean Cain for supporting ICE, suggesting that arrests during the “No Kings” rallies would be politically motivated.
“But there will be arrests made and we’ll watch that fallout because people are calling this protest the no king’s day because Trump thinks he’s a king. And you know he’s not. He’s barely a president,” Griffin said, doubling down on her denial of the 2024 election results. “In fact, guess what? I’m going to say something that’s going to get me in trouble. I don’t think he won in a free and fair election. You heard me. I’m coming out and saying it myself. I don’t care if that means I look crazy.”
From there, Griffin spiraled further — blaming Elon Musk, whom she labeled a “professional Nazi,” for supposedly “paying people for votes” to secure Trump’s victory. “And the fact that Trump won all seven swing states, which has never happened in the history of the US, makes it all very suspicious to me,” she added.
The irony is hard to miss. The same celebrity class that spent years mocking conservatives for questioning elections is now parroting their own brand of election denial — all while calling for mass protests against a sitting president.
Griffin’s rant follows a similar call to action from actor Robert De Niro, who recorded a video urging Americans to join the “No Kings” demonstrations. “I’m Robert De Niro, asking you to stand up and be counted in the nationwide No Kings protest on October 18th,” he said. “Visit nokings.org to find, volunteer or host a protest near you. We’re all in this together, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
The irony of Hollywood elites rallying under slogans about “liberty and justice for all” while openly dismissing democratic election outcomes is a snapshot of how detached the entertainment class has become from everyday Americans. What they call “resistance” increasingly looks like bitterness — and a refusal to accept that the voters they once lectured have long since tuned them out.
Second time’s a charm, Kathy! The stunt with the beheading of Trump was the final straw and now you’re going to feel the pain. People, please stay away from the event as the citizens are being used as a shield for the violent attack they intend to pull off. Trump has been deploying the NG across the country because he’s aware of an attack. This has a dual purpose, to defend ICE and the citizens! The cabal has had its money laundering severed and it’s come down to do or die for them. I can’t believe that they can influence so many people! They pay little to nothing for the disruptive behavior. They pay their handlers and get the people to do the job for them!
