In what many are calling a tone-deaf moment, actress Eva Longoria took to Instagram—from her luxury mansion in Spain—to attack U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies.
Her message? Deporting illegal immigrants is “inhumane,” “un-American,” and hard for her to “witness from afar.”
But the real question: what’s truly un-American—enforcing the law, or undermining it from overseas?
Longoria, best known for her role in Desperate Housewives, began her video by saying:
“Every time I try to record a message, I just start crying… and then I don’t want it to be about me.”
Yet ironically, much of the message was about her—her emotions, her view from Europe, and her dismay at Americans who support ICE.
She said:
“I can’t imagine what it’s like to be in Los Angeles right now. I can’t believe it’s happening in Austin, Texas. I can’t believe it’s happening all over the country.”
And she followed with this:
“And the comments and people’s reactions to it is really so surprising to me, because it is un-American.”
Let’s be clear—ICE is following the law. And President Trump was re-elected by a landslide in 2024, winning the Electoral College, popular vote, and every single swing state, running on the exact agenda Longoria calls “un-American.”
While millions of Americans deal with rising crime, fentanyl flooding across the border, and strained school and health systems, Longoria broadcasts her emotional appeal from a gated estate across the Atlantic.
She did acknowledge:
“Nobody wants criminals in our country. Nobody wants rapists, nobody wants drug dealers, nobody wants bad actors in our country.”
But then claimed:
“That’s not what’s happening… these roundups [are] at birthday parties, in elementary graduations… Those are not criminals.”
However, ICE recently arrested a number of illegal immigrants with serious felony convictions, including:
- A gang member involved in a mass shooting that killed two and injured seven.
- Others convicted of sexual battery, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and drug trafficking.
Longoria concluded her monologue with a call:
“And I just asked for you guys to educate yourself.”
Here’s a fact many celebrities ignore: illegal immigration clogs the system for legal immigrants. Those who play by the rules often wait decades to come here legally because the system is overwhelmed by those who bypass it.
Her dismissive response?
“There is no line — this mythical line… there’s people that’ve been waiting for citizenship for 25 years.”
She’s not wrong about the wait—but illegal immigration is one reason those lines exist. Jumping the border doesn’t fix the backlog—it worsens it.
President Trump’s overwhelming re-election victory gave him a clear mandate to enforce immigration laws. Americans voted to protect the border, uphold national security, and restore law and order.
That includes ICE doing its job—whether Hollywood approves or not.
There’s a major disconnect when elites lecture working Americans from luxury villas overseas. Eva Longoria might call ICE “un-American,” but millions of voters—and the Constitution—say following the law is patriotic.
Keep your lame ass in Spain and STFU about the country that gave you the ABILITY to have a luxurious mansion !!!
