Once again, the far-left corner of Hollywood shows its true colors — and this time, actress Ellen Barkin is leading the charge with a disgusting, profanity-laced attack aimed at Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
In a now widely criticized post on X (formerly Twitter), the Ocean’s Thirteen actress shared what she called a “poem” about Noem. But instead of expressing any coherent political view, Barkin resorted to crude name-calling and outright vulgarity.
“Here is a poem About Kristi Noem She shot her dog She is a c***,” Barkin posted.
Barkin claimed to have seen the post on Instagram and felt the need to share it with her nearly 200,000 followers.
Sadly, Barkin didn’t stop there. When a follower applauded her offensive post, she replied with smug satisfaction:
“Jane of all trades.”
And as news broke that Noem had been rushed to the hospital after suffering an allergic reaction, Barkin mocked the situation, responding to a post about the incident with:
“Who let the dogs out?”
This behavior — mocking a public servant during a medical emergency — has drawn outrage from many, but it’s hardly new for Barkin.
This isn’t the first time Ellen Barkin has unleashed venom against conservatives. As Breitbart News previously reported, she has a long history of bashing President Trump, his supporters, and now even Jewish Americans who attend his rallies.
After Trump held a campaign event at Madison Square Garden in front of a packed crowd, Barkin lashed out, tweeting:
As with many elites in Hollywood, Barkin seems more interested in cancel culture and name-calling than engaging in thoughtful dialogue. Her remarks come across not just as disrespectful, but completely unhinged and hateful — especially considering the seriousness of Noem’s medical scare.
Thankfully, Kristi Noem is now recovering, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, who stated that the Secretary was taken to the hospital “out of an abundance of caution” following an allergic reaction.
“She is recovering,” McLaughlin confirmed.
While the left mocks and demeans, conservatives have rallied behind Noem, recognizing both the strength she’s shown in public service and the double standards routinely applied to conservative women in media.
The backlash against Barkin’s post has been swift from conservative voices across social media. Many are calling it yet another example of the blatant hypocrisy from Hollywood — where women are supposedly to be respected and empowered, unless they happen to be Republicans.
There’s no outcry from the mainstream media, no Hollywood apology tour — just silence.
Let’s be clear: if a conservative actor had posted this about a liberal woman in office, the media outrage would be deafening. Instead, Barkin’s bile is being brushed off as just another celebrity “joke.”
This isn’t just about Kristi Noem or one foul-mouthed actress. This is about how conservative women are routinely smeared by the liberal elite — mocked, insulted, and dismissed in ways the left would never tolerate against their own.
And yet, through it all, leaders like Kristi Noem press forward, putting America first, defending our borders, and standing tall — even while being jeered by those who contribute nothing but online venom.
It’s time to call this what it is: cowardly, unhinged, and unacceptable. And it’s time conservatives continue to support strong, principled women like Kristi Noem — who lead with courage and grace in the face of hatred.
